This hamper is named after Ramla Bay Ramla Bay, referred to by locals as ‘Ir-Ramla il-Hamra due to its golden-reddish sand. It is situated at the bottom of a fertile valley in the north of Gozo. The bay is surrounded by countryside and nestles below steep terraced hills and the mythical Calypso’s Cave.
